Podcast 1 : Here Come 2 Krafty Stitches
Welcome to the first installment 2 Krafty Stitches. Kelly has received her March 2015 Moonrover Fiber Club. Proceed with caution if you are apart of the club but have not received your package. A small spoiler is it is Gorgeous! Kelly has also been using her new to her Vespera espinner. Both Kelly and Sandy have new Doctor Who fabric from Joann’s Fabric. Sandy visited Yards and Yarn located in Ocala, Florida where she purchased Whisper Lace yarn in the Alhambra colorway. This week she received a package from the Loopy Ewe containing 8 ounces of Malabrigo Nube roving in the Archangel colorway.
Kelly has been working on her Skew Socks in the Sesame colorway from Must Stash Yarns. She has pulled out her Simply Soft Crochet Blanket again! On her Ashford Traveler, Kelly is spinning the Three Waters Farm, Targhee Wool in the Burnished Sunset. On her espinner, she is spinning Naturally Knitty, mixed fiber of superwash BFL, superwash merino, nylon, and firestar in the Melted Nerds colorway. Kelly also just casted on a toe up sock out of Knit Picks Fecili in the Building Blocks colorway.
Sandy has been working on her mound of Patons projects. The Skew Sock is out of Patons Kroy Singing in the Blues and the plain stockinette toe up sock in the Blue Strip Raggs. She has just started the ribbing for the One for all Cap by Tullia Salmela (AKA Flame Hat) out of Red Heart Soft in Greens and Black. The Never Ending Mitered Square Sock Yarn Blanket is and will be in progress for a while. Don’t worry I won’t be showing it very often. Her spindle is free and she is deciding on her next spinning project.
Kelly has finished a pair of Patons Socks for her mom for Mother’s Day. The Willow Cowl by Amelia Lyons out of Fleece Artist Merino in the Rainforest colorway has also been completed.
Sandy finished her pair of Twisted Flower Sock by Cookie A in you guessed it..Patons Sock yarn. She also finished spinning approximately 200 yards of Edgewood Garden Wensleydale Wool in the colorway Life’s Ups and Downs.
