Episode 22 – Whatever, it was my birthday a few days ago

In  this week’s episode, we talk about the crochet blanket that Kelly has been working on forever. She is making it out of Caron Simply Soft yarn and using a pattern from a Japanese book that is unfortunately out of print. She is also working on a pair of socks for her mom out of some Deborah Norville Premier Yarns in the surf colorway.

Sandy is still working on the Opal mystery socks. She also had to rip out and restart her Fifty Fifty Shell for the 4th time.

A few times during this episode, Kelly mentioned a blog she likes to look at for crochet projects. You can find it here: Attic 24.

Sandy has not finished reading any books as she has been super busy with work. Kelly finished reading Sword and Verse by Kathy MacMillan. She is currently rereading Killing Ruby Rose by Jessie Humphries.

Don’t forget that we have a discount code for Bedesisters on etsy. The code is 2KRAFTYSTITCHES20 and it is good for the month of February.

Finally, Sandy and Kelly are participating in the Walk to Defeat ALS in March in memory of Kelly’s grandfather. If you would like to make a donation, please click on this link or you can search for our team “Remembering Davis.”
